With the arrival of COVID-19, HR professionals went into high gear in making difficult decisions about their workforce. Consultant Eric Mochnacz offered some guidance to Glassdoor readers on how to manage your teams through layoffs.

Any communication regarding any change in someone’s employment — reduction in hours, reclassification, furlough or layoffs — it’s important they be handled with sensitivity.
